USB CCTV Evidence Packs

Why USB evidence packs matter for CCTV teams

Most modern CCTV, NVR, VSS and body-worn camera systems export footage to USB. Using ordinary, unlabelled drives makes it harder to maintain a clear chain of evidence, track which incidents have been copied, and demonstrate proper handling under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

TVS CCTV USB evidence packs are prepared specifically for this workflow. Each pack is designed so operators can download footage, apply consistent labelling, and keep supporting documentation in one place — reducing the risk of lost or poorly presented evidence.

What is included in a typical USB evidence pack

Depending on the pack size you choose, contents usually include:

• High-quality USB flash drives

• Audit-ready labelling options so each drive can be clearly identified

• Supporting paperwork for evidence logging and incident records

• Packaging suitable for secure storage and handover to investigating officers or internal teams

Who uses our USB evidence packs

Our USB packs are supplied to organisations that need reliable, repeatable evidence handling processes, including:

• District and borough councils running public-space CCTV schemes

• Police authorities and evidence management teams

• Retail chains, supermarkets and DIY stores

• Fast-food outlets, petrol stations and fitness centres

• NHS sites and other public-sector organisations

Many of these clients run scheduled replenishment programmes so that every site always has a ready supply of compliant media.

Benefits of using prepared USB packs

• Consistency — every operator follows the same media and labelling process

• Traceability — serial numbering and clear labels support audit trails

• Speed — packs are ready to use, reducing time spent preparing media after an incident

• Professional presentation — evidence handed over looks organised and complete

• Compliance support — helps demonstrate that practical organisational measures are in place for personal data in footage

Many clients prefer a replenishment programme: we supply agreed quantities on a regular schedule so stock levels stay consistent without last-minute orders. Contact us with your approximate annual volume and any branding or numbering requirements and we will provide a quotation.
